Torland L. Charles · Founder, LeVar Holdings. More than two decades across telecom, networking and AI — as an individual contributor, a technical lead, a trusted consultant, and most recently a team leader and mentor.
My career spans more than two decades across telecom, networking and AI — as an individual contributor, a technical lead, a trusted consultant, and most recently a team leader and mentor. I’ve carried the pager at 3 a.m., and advised some of the country’s largest organizations.
Somewhere along that arc I noticed a pattern: the technology was never the hard part. The careers that stalled, the teams that struggled, the deals that faltered — those were always people problems wearing technical costumes.
That’s why LeVar Holdings exists in the shape it does. When people thrive, business responds — I’ve watched it happen too many times to believe anything else. My job is to help you discover your natural strengths, navigate corporate life with clear eyes, and achieve the kind of breakthroughs AI cannot replicate.
Away from work, I’m a mentor, a speaker, and a lifelong student of how people grow.
Early-career nerves, mid-career plateaus, the leap into leadership — I’ve lived each one. The work starts from recognition, not theory.
Deeply technical and fully human. I help experts translate their value, and I help leaders reach the technical people they struggle to read.
Outcome-based goals, honest feedback, and deliberate development — the same approach that kept a high-performing team together, applied to your growth.
I build AI solutions in the other practices, so I work with clear eyes about the future: people are the talent, AI is the doer — and your human edge is the asset.
Twelve years in sales — most of them carrying the number myself, and more recently leading a team carrying theirs. These are here as evidence of the approach, not as a pitch. None of it came from running a playbook harder. It came from understanding what the people on both sides of a deal actually needed, and earning the trust that follows.
Tell me which practice fits — or just describe the problem and I’ll tell you.
